Key Stage 3
Students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7,8 and 9) follow the National Curriculum for England. They study the same subjects as in the Primary school but they are taught by subject specialist teachers. A range of teaching methods is employed and we support our students so that they feel confident in collaborative learning and educational risk taking.
Key skills are emphasised throughout the Key Stage with English, Mathematics, Science and ICT as core areas of learning.
Assessment is continuous and systematic; this allows for personalised learning which ensures that students make good process towards attaining their potential at (I)GSCE (International General Certificate of Education) and beyong into High Education.
