Dutch Stream

We have a large Dutch Community at St. Andrews Green Valley and so we offer Dutch lessons to Dutch and Belgium students for whom Dutch is their first language. These lessons are offered to students from Reception through to Secondary School.

The Dutch lessons are structured according to the benchmarks for Dutch language set by the Dutch Government and Inspector of Education. Our aim is to provide lessons that will enable your child to read, write and comprehend the Dutch language. To enable the Dutch Department to achieve these standards there is a Dutch specific classroom in the school.

The Dutch Department is financially supported by the Dutch government. This enables us to keep the Dutch curriculum up to date and supports our library and other resources regarding Dutch lessons.
